Is LogAir legally accepted as a logbook?
Yes. LogAir tracks every required field for FAA Part 61/121/135, EASA FCL, CAA UK, and Transport Canada. As with any digital logbook, check your operator’s policy - most accept digital records, some still want a printed backup, which we generate as PDF in one tap.
Can I export my data? In what format?
Yes. Full CSV export anytime, including on the free tier. PDF reports for airline or insurance audit. Your data is yours, always.
Does it work offline?
Fully. Log a leg from cruise on a 13-hour Pacific. Everything syncs when you’re back on signal. No data loss, no duplicates.
What happens if I cancel my subscription?
You keep read-only access to all your flights and can export anytime. New flights become limited to the free tier (100 entries). No lock-in, no held data.
Where is my data stored?
On your device first, then encrypted to your iCloud or Google account. Aggregate anonymous metrics live in EU-hosted servers and never your flight content. We never sell or share your data.
Do you support gliders, helicopters, military, or instructor logging?
Yes. Glider (winch / aero-tow / self-launch), rotary (auto, hover, sling, NVG), military qualifications, dual-given hours, simulator time, IFR approaches, and instructor endorsements all have proper fields.
